Our apartment in Samöens is just a ski–bus ride away from the lifts of the Grand Massif.
But Samöens is probably the most picturesque ski resort in France.
To add to that, the apartment is within reach of some of the most extensive skiing in the Alps. The ski bus takes you into the Grand Massif which boasts 260 kilometres of pistes and, as most of the slopes are north or north-west facing, they keep their snow. Les Gets is only 15 minutes by car away from Samöens. It has its own local skiing and is linked into the huge Portes de Soleil circuit which straddles France and Switzerland. You have no chance of skiing all this in just a week! |

The luxury apartment is on two floors as shown on the plan.
On the first floor there is a large living area with a log fire, a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is a TV, video player, and CD and radio. We have left about 20 videos - but you might want to bring your kids' favourites. There is also a sofa bed. Two double bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet, and two balconies. On the second floor there is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The apartment is located in a brand new chalet 900 metres from the centre of town, and has a garage. It is fully equipped with bedding and towels, crockery and cutlery. There are raclette and fondue sets for you to enjoy traditional Savoyard dishes round the log fire. |
