Chalet Apartment Les Marmottes is is a spacious apartment on two floors,
one of nine apartments in a recently built, traditionally-styled apartment in Les Allues (1100m),
a lively and welcoming village ideally situated in the extensive ski area known as the Trois
Vallees, just 6 kms from Meribel (1450 m). Skiing is accessed via the Olympe gondola from
Les Allues which takes skiers and boarders to La Chaudanne in Meribel and links with 600 kms
of pisted skiing.
Accommodation The apartment is on two floors and is spacious, warm and welcoming and alpine in style. It is thoughtfully equipped by the owners who use it as their own holiday home and it sleeps six very comfortably. The lower floor has an open-plan living / dining area with kitchen at one end, balcony and superb mountain views. There are two bedrooms and a sleeping area on the upper floor, reached via open-tread wooden stairs. Families are welcome and there is plenty of room for a cot in the double bedroom. Creche and nanny services are located nearby. The chalet is only available for a maximum of 6 people. From the chalet it is approximately 10 minutes walk to the gondola lift to Meribel, which arrives at La Chaudanne, from the ski school meeting place and ski kindergarten are situated and where other lifts take you to all points in the Trois Vallees. The nearest village bar is just a few minutes walk from the chalet, and the village supermarket and free ski bus is just five minutes walk away. |
