The chalet has been finished to a high standard and provides very comfortable
accommodation for 8 people in 4 bedrooms, all with private facilities.
There is no over-crowding and there are no bunk beds or bed settees.
There is a comfortable lounge and dining room, with under floor heating and a wood burning stove.
The lounge is equipped with TV and DVD player.
There is a separate, well-fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, each with private shower room. One of the rooms is set up with TV and play station and can be used as an additional sitting area for children. Location The chalet is situated in Saint Jean d'Aulps, a peaceful, typically French town, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The centre of St Jean is just 10 minutes walk from the chalet; there you will find 2 good restaurants, a very popular pizza bar, 2 bakeries. a supermarket, pharmacy, banks and a gym. St Jean d'Aulps is a great location for a holiday; it is just 10 minutes away from Morzine, 15 minutes from Les Gets, 25 minutes from Lake Geneva and is a peaceful alternative to the bigger resorts. The main resorts of the Portes du Soleil are easily and quickly accessible. Saint Jean d'Aulps also has its own ski / VTT area - La Grande Terche - just 2 minutes drive from the chalet, which is ideal for beginners and intermediates. |

The Portes du Soleil is a huge area, in the French Alps, linking the resorts of Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Chatel, Morgins and Champery. In the winter there are over 650km of marked runs catering for all levels of skiing; in the summer there are 500 km of trails for mountain biking and walking.
There are loads of activities available for a fantastic holiday in winter or summer, including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, walking, white water rafting, climbing and golf. The area is stunningly beautiful with amazing views over Mont Blanc, the Dents de Midi and Lake Geneva.
Our holiday chalet is just over an hour away from Geneva airport and an easy 8 hour drive from the Channel ports making it very accessible for a week or fortnight's holidays or even short breaks.
