"Chalet Les Colchiques" is a traditional French Alpine wooden chalet which
comfortably sleeps 7 people. The chalet has a real homely feel to it and
is located in a totally relaxing position with stunning views of the Alps from all aspects.
The chalet is accessed either via the garage ( most suitable for after a day's skiing, snowboarding or mountain biking) or via the main front door which is reached via a few steps. Ground Floor: The ground floor comprises the garage which houses one car (with the driveway providing space for a further two cars), as well as a boiler room and a ski/snowboard/bike storage room. From the garage, their is an internal staircase leading to the first floor. 1st Floor: The first floor of the chalet is open-plan, comprising the kitchen, dining area and living area, all of which have French doors out onto the patio / balcony, which surrounds the chalet on 3 sides. A garden table and 4 chairs can be found in the garage for you to use outside should you wish to. The living area currently has a sofa and 2 armchairs, floor cushions and a bean-bag. A new corner-sofa is being delivered in February 2007 to replace the sofa and one of the armchairs. There is a TV and DVD Player, PS2 with a selection of games, some board-games and a selection of books and magazines. There is also a real log-burning stove, which is perfect for relaxing in front of at the end of an invigorating day in the mountains! The dining area houses a large solid pine table which can seat up to 8 people. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, four-ring electric hob, worktop oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker and all the usual utensils! The family bathroom with basin, bath and over-bath shower is also on this floor, with a separate WC adjacent to it. 2nd Floor: On the 2nd floor are 2 double bedrooms each with double beds, and 1 triple bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 set of bunk-beds. All rooms are very generous in size. There is also a second washroom with a basin and a WC. |

| Special Notes | Having a car is strongly recommended, although during the winter ski-season (only), there is a bus service into Morzine centre. The bus stop is approximately a minute's walk from the chalet and costs 1 Euro. The main ski lifts all have car-parks. | ||
