Morzine Chalets with Ski Chalet Direct
Ski Chalet Direct is a small company now in its forth season. We have a selection of chalets and apartments in the resort of Morzine-Avoriaz in the heart of the vast Portes du Soleil in the French Alps and offer a range of high quality catered and self-catered chalet holidays. Morzine is a picturesque, traditional town situated between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc and is one of the most accessible alpine resorts being just over an hour's drive from Geneva airport or around 8 hours from Calais.
We pride ourselves on the high level of personal service and attention to detail that we offer our guests and can tailor your holiday to your exact requirements.
From the time you first enquire, to the time you leave, we will do everything to ensure you have the perfect alpine winter or summer holiday.
Morzine Ski Areas
The Portes du Soleil offer all ski enthusiasts an unlimited ski area between France and Switzerland, between lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, at the foot of the Dents Blanches and the Dents du Midi. Ski slopes for all levels of skiing, panoramic views to take your breath away, whether you choose the peaks of “Mossette” or “Chamossière”, the forest paths of the Lindarets or Morgin, everybody will find their own particular corner of paradise, somewhere in the 650 km of marked ski runs in the biggest ski area in the world. The 3D skiing in the Morzine/Avoriaz sector, the Morzine/Les Gets or the Portes du Soleil, is even bigger!
Morzine - les Gets Area
Directly accessible from the village centre, this sector links the Pléney and Nyon to Morzine, Chavannes and Mont Chéry in les Gets, offering 107 km of ski runs between 1000 and 2020 meters in altitude. Three new 6 seater high-speed detachable chairlifts will be installed in this sector, two chairlifts to replace draglifts which were taken down during the summer of 2002 and one new chairlift. What’s more, the cabins on the Mont Chery gondola lift are to be replaced.
Morzine - Avoriaz Area
Equally accessible from the village centre by the Super Morzine gondola lift which will also be equipped with new cabins next winter, it is comprised of 70 km of ski runs between 1000 and 2350 meters in altitude. This is paradise for those liking the more modern forms of snow sports, as there’s a snowpark with a half pipe and a “snowcross” where you can practice off-piste pursuits in total safety. This sector is also home to the Lindarets village, a hamlet of high mountain farms, which have been turned into restaurants, to the great pleasure of all good-food lovers, and is the gateway to Switzerland.
